Research shows that there are two distinct types of aging. Aging caused by the genes we inherit is called internal or intrinsic aging. The other type of aging is external aging or extrinsic aging and is caused by environmental factors, such as exposure to the sun’s rays.
Therapies that we use:
Retin-A therapy - its safety and effectiveness is why no dermatologist could practice without it. Retin-A also known as tretinoin is the only FDA-approved topical treatment for wrinkles. This prescription cream diminishes fine lines and noticable wrinkles as well as repairs sun damage skin.
Acid Therapy - is the use of an acid which are relatively mild on the skin and can help eliminate age spots from your skin. The therapy consists of Glycolic acid which is a type of alpha hydroxy acid derived from sugar cane. These natural fruit acids lift away the top most layer of dead skin cells which reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Cryotherapy - or the use of low temperature medical therapy to remove heat from an area of the body. Cryosurgery is a form of surgery where a level of skin is removed in addition with age spots. This form of surgery is an effective type of acne treatment which has been available for more than 40 years and has been recognized to be an effective form of aging skin therapy.
